If you have no idea what to do right now and like designing characters, you could always play a game with your fans. where every week/month or so you pic a object that they suggest and make a character based on that.

Poncho makes most sense, but I really like the shirt with the bigass sleeves :D

I am also thinking about comic creation and agree, my only viable option is to simplify my art style until I'm both happy with it and can draw it in a reasonable amount of time.
