Anyway. If this were Apple’s budget phone, it would be amazing! For a midrange, it feels worse than the ”basic” iPhone.

If it had launched last year when I was upgrading I would have considered and dismissed it. One camera lens? No magsafe style attach zoom/wide angle lenses? No, it looks nice, but for less out of pocket costs I would get another Pro model.

Bummer. I liked them best of the companies I was familiar with and not already bankrupt. Ah well, no doubt other companies move into the space in the coming years.

At a glance, I thought this meant the Pro line of Apple computers. Not, depends on not just buying the right line, but the right tier. Product fragmentation getting bad again if true, while the marketing aligns more behind not for you this year, try again later.

As one who finds out transit locally insufficient to get me downtown, and having seen the steady stream of cars along Pike Place Market, I imagine cars vs bikes.

Starting to wonder if this means police are concerned by the well funded criminal organization that's been abducting Americans, and so arresting them. They can, of course, prove they were federal officers after deportation, per the current governing policies.

I've been hearing this sort of thing for a long time. Still not sure #NFT has solved well enough for the digital. Definitely still more friction buying and selling than a person looking to spruce up their workspace would expect.

What amuses me about X, brands continue to use it because they believe X's marketing about the amount of humans there and their outreach. Rather than, say, move over to Bluesky or something.

Love the feel of field notes. Great how they pack into pockets and bags. The challenges getting them to lie flat drive me nuts, so I'll always turn to something hard bound like my Moleskin. But, yeah, pretty crazy that the best thing to do with a new stack of bound, blank paper is to add some ink.

I was sold to read the review and see if it would work for me, until I got to lacks wireless. Not in a place at this time to enjoy a wired set up.

Apple: we implemented find my to help with device tracking, and locking devices so stolen devices have severely limited resale value. Police: we need more ways to spy on users, don't blame us for not sufficiently tacking theft.

Thanks for this review. I’ve hopes in the years to come to need such a thing in my life, and even with the afterthought feeling I still like the device based on your review.

For my money, robots replacing people was written on the wall when I saw things like Japan test piloting robots to assist in education. Finding many parts of the world have declining birth rates, this is going to accelerate that change and what is coming.

I read this on a day of poor sleep and start to wonder, if Aluminum can stimulate the immune system when inside a vaccine, what about when fragments are in soda or beer?

Looking good! Will be an interesting game.

Why wonder about it? What happened after the insurrection on January 6th? Where is the leader who instigated it? We live in interesting times, such that I lost my taste re-reading into WWI through WWII so I can better focus on the present and raising my kids.

I feel like we are in the early days of solutions: figuring out how to break them down. As companies converge on what to use, options for breaking them down into more usable options should appear. Be interesting if we can get to a point where the initial designs plan for recycling.

Hmm. With the style used for Game of Thrones being something copied widely for fan fiction, readily made available, strikes me as deeply subjective on what infringes if it isn't word for word. Going to be difficult creating legal guidelines.

Pixels really let people imagine what they want. I thought it was more of an earth thing with like, Charlie Brown show the kid with the dirt clods.

Seems like that is why they should reconsider him, the value he brings the company has shifted from clearly positive, to possibly negative.
