that's fair, I watched Romulus years after I had seen the others and was mostly just refreshed at a returning Xenomorph after Prometheus and Covenants half measures in that regard. Also I really appreciated pushing home how much of a crapsack world that universe is in.

The show is very fun and the actors are all very good at what they're supposed to do. Some motivations don't land as well for me and there's a few scenes that I feel were put into it because "lol Disney owns this now" but I've enjoyed the majority of my time with it.

"Especially given the state the rug was in, like if it smelled absolutely awful and had weird stains on it! You wouldn't say that rep knew what was going on, even if he did hypothetically see a foot stick out one end as he buried it in the woods during that thunderstorm."

Could try your hand with the Dark Pictures Anthologies, which are made by the same studio as The Quarry and feature the same kinds of design choices. I played thru House of Ashes and had a good time of it. The Forest can also be good to have on in the background watching folk that want to progress.
