The final boss didnt have much for dramatics with the fight being very simple and fast. The music was great, showing off what a CD can do, but not nearly as impressive as i'd expect as someone who grew up with a 64 and hearing about the superiority of CD's to cartridge.

This game is mostly loyal to the source material,but it doesn't follow 1 for 1. However the story concessions did not invade the experience

Overall: 9.5/10

Fall damage is crazy high and collision detection can be odd at times.
The controls weren't clunky and in my retro adventure that is a BIG WIN
