Blender is my go to. It's complicated to start with, so you'll have to dedicate it a lot of time. Sketchup seems to be more beginner friendly.

I'd say, experiment with Blender first, and if it gets too annoying, see if Sketchup is any better. That's what i'd do anyways.

I get you 100%. Even cuddling can feel TOO intimate. Perhaps you need to get used to the presence of the other person first? meaning, you'd have to find someone local?
Or maybe you have some deep rooted things that need to be explored?

Might be worth looking into asexuality. I 100% get that myself. I just find irl stuff as a whole icky. I've also been so used to think of anything intimate as just "bad" because of how people growing up expressed it. (usually objectifying the person they were talking about).

Yeah. It's normal, and i think, even healthy. So long as you know how to be selective with your ideas.
If you have a big project in mind, maybe think of a simpler, more achievable version of it
