"Bitter rind, blind me

I want to crack him open
Tear back the peel
And sink my fingers into sinew
Tongue-deep in mind
Tasting him burst

Like citrus fruit."

for wanting to be with him,

and she doesn't really understand why

but knows it is the most devastating pain
they have ever had to endure.

"I just met the version of myself
that's panicking over my recent decisions.

She came in suddenly,
anxiety screaming violently,
pulling her hair out wildly,
mind melting,
guts on the floor.

And then she was gone."

I look at the pages
Past, written
and say
"Wow! I did that?"
having lost all recognition.

Strangely enough, writing a book
feels easier than creating a post.
