What did y’all think zero cost abstractions meant? Vibes? Papers? Essays?
The hardware or the software? Software issue is solvable with a jailbreak and KOReader is phenomenal on that front (it lets you ssh into your kindle!)

Ah classic, I’m not willing to let go of either so I’ve settled with just decreasing the slant and width for obliques.

Ah I might be mistaken but I could’ve sworn the v1 italics didn’t get cut off in kitty, but the v2 obliques do. Also, the discussion over at Kitty on the same topic: github.com/kovidgoyal/k...

Love Berkeley Mono! Are there any plans to support Italics again instead of oblique fonts like v1? Kitty doesn’t render the oblique versions well because some oblique characters don’t fit in the same cell as a regular character. Other terminals just bleed over to the next cell, but Kitty doesn’t.
