Cotterzz has been working a super-cool shader-prototyping thing (www.sleditor.com) and in the process of thinking about features and stuff, I mentioned these 2 sort-of-related things I worked on github.com/konsumer/aud... github.com/konsumer/rec...

I have been going deep on reticuluum/lxmf/nomadnet.

If you aren't familiar, reticulum is a cool protocol that uses your pubkey as your address. It's used over cheap p2p lora radio, but easy to also route over internet. lxmf is a protocol for routing/messaging over that.

I have been playing with non-internet digital comm this weekend. Really excited about Reticulum and nomadnet! If anyone wants to chat, I am at 5d8ccebf24acd91266e86653d42e970d

This is one of those lil features that makes me so happy using Zed: sub-type syntax-highlighting. I am dyslexic, and embedding strings in JS is super-annoying, in other editors. Zed handles it with grace, and I started using this for everything.

Saddened by the news about David Lynch. RIP, you brilliant weirdo. "A filmmaker doesn’t have to suffer to show suffering. You just have to understand it. You don’t have to die to shoot a death scene."

I have been working on this engine for making synths and stuff, inspired by the new Kaoss Pad. I like that it has a programmable API, but you can't really compose units in complex ways and mix/match with other devices. #indiedev

I just wanna say, I love Zed. I used Sublime Text for years, and it's still great, but Zed is fast, focused, and fun, and has some really deep (but totally optional) AI integration (even with your own servers!) Much faster & nicer than VSC, in my opinion.

Anyone writing/using a native wasm-host in vlang? I just found the language, and it seems really cool. I am especially impressed with it's direct wasm-output support. #wasm #vlang

I made this GB/GBC game: davidkonsumer.itch.io/friendstar There was a bit of a time-crunch (Retro Platform Jam) but I got "Best Overall" #1 rank. It's sort of like Zelda or Pokemon.

I made this a lil while ago, for writing shaders that effect video. konsumer.js.org/recurweb/ I really like this kaleidoscope shader (fiddle with the sliders): konsumer.js.org/recurweb/#ko...

Lately, I've been working on null0 (github.com/notnullgames...) my fun & easy game-engine that loads wasm "carts". In the process, I also I made a very light & simple WASI host for the web (github.com/konsumer/eas...) and some virtual WASI devices (framebuffer and sound github.com/konsumer/web...)

I am still getting DMCA takedown notices for my open-source project, like 10 years later. If you are interested in binaural brainwave synchronization, check out sbagen (the open-source software they illegally sold) and the "digital drugs" that run in it: github.com/brainbang/sb...
