I may humbly suggest trying out Bitwarden, it being open-sourced and audited. Cheaper/even free, too, and with clients for many OSes (very useful when constantly switching between a Mac and Linux desktops) and browser extensions.

Not a perfect solution, but I use Homebrew as much as possible. Most of CLI a human one need, many desktop apps (called casks), easy updates and bulk install (export a 'bundle' on old system, install from this list on a new one).
