When I say black vultures are curious and friendly birds, I mean it. Our resident flock visits the house and garden daily just to chill. We don't feed them or anything, they lived here before we moved in. Here's Tim (named after the Sorcerer) and this year's fledglings visiting Potatoes.

Haven't painted digitally in a few years, but @tobyfoxart.bsky.social 's tutorial was a good excuse to take Rebelle 7 on a test drive (my rolling hills became distant mountains along the way 😅).

Speaking of Cult of the Lamb, these amazing comments posted after the metal soundtrack drop still live rent-free in my head. 6 yrs of cute fuzzy animal cult activity feat demon sacrifice, shit-eating, and a breeding DLC, and it was the *entirely separate* metalcore album and merch that got you?

Alocasia plant (on the left. She will be mine. Oh yes.) Thai Constellation monstera (monstera with white speckles and patches). I have one already, but this one is very sweet, putting out notched leaves like she's grown! A variegated Dieffenbachia; a houseplant with pointed, white leaves edged with bold green borders One last remaining hybrid anthurium "Michelle". The dark green, white veined leaves have a very satiny effect in person. As it matures the veins will gradually turn red.

I love that all over the world and over countless millennia, one of the things humans have had in common is "go the fuck to sleep." Here's a Babylonian example of "baby, *please* stop crying" from sometime between 1850-1500 BC.
