Here for sports 1st! Die-hard CLEVELAND (and Buckeye) fan. Grew up (early 80s) front row center of the original Dawg pound.

No hate. No wannabe bullies. Just peace.
Yeah, my mind is hung up on the chemistry too.

As soon as I saw the Butler interview yesterday, I began to imagine what his fit would be like here. It would definitely solidify the SF spot. I even looked for what kind of relationship him and Spida have.

Yeah. Having your favorite team be so good, for so long, gives lots of good memories to reflect on. Unfortunately as a Cavs (Cleveland) fan, most of the best memories in major sports were champions games/series when they fell short.

Looking forward to the OKC games. They stole a W from here, coming back from down 9 with under 2 to play hitting 3 straight 3s. When we played there we were fighting uphill all game.

That's fair. You're your 1st priority. If that helps the cope, it's all good. Just like coming back from down 3-1 to beat that regular season record setting 73-9 squad helps me some days.

I began getting the 14-15 GSW vibes during the streak to begin the season. The thrashing of the Warriors sealed the deal for me.

Although it isn't that deep. If I can change something I'd swap the location of the team logo with the team score.

I can relate. Except people loved to gift me "GoBots" instead of Transformers.

I remember when Marie ruined Robert's chance at a job with the FBI.

Childhood memory unlocked. Although, back when my mom sent me to the corner store for cigarettes, she wanted Kool filter kings . I had to say it like that too or they may give me the wrong ones.

Enough (5) voted to *not* release that it won't be released.
November 20, 2024 at 9:59 PM
Right. I can hear the sound of it falling back out now.
November 20, 2024 at 8:47 PM
Yup. Had to prepare ourselves before placing the call.
November 20, 2024 at 8:43 PM
Everywhere. And growing up being out all over the city, we knew where they were. We knew which ones were the good ones, Which ones were broken, ripped, out, or had static. Had my share of having no change, hitting "0" and calling my parents collect. It was free until I got home lol. Good ole days.
November 20, 2024 at 8:41 PM
Absolutely. I was just talking about payphones and collect calls when we were out all day with no change. Before cell phones, and before pagers. Not to mention recently talking about the kidnapping I evaded.
November 20, 2024 at 8:31 PM
Yup.
November 20, 2024 at 6:56 PM
If they accepted the call, you usually talked fast because the cost was based on how many minutes you talked. The charges (I was a kid so I don't recall the exact price) would be included on the persons bill. You were calling from a .10 or .25 cent payphone w/o the money.
November 20, 2024 at 6:53 PM
We'd dial "0" to be connected with an operator, Once connected we'd say, "I'd like to make a collect call to" whatever number it was. The operator would say "stay on the line while I connect you". The person you called answers. Operator tells them they have a collect call, asks if they accept.

It was absolutely real. All of us showed up at home or at a friends to eat, then continue to explore the state. You were lucky if they gave you change for a payphone because everyone wasn't allowed to call collect. Somehow (bikes, running, parkour) we usually made it right at the streetlight deadline.
