Keeping the promises we make for ourselves builds self-trust and confidence.

I aim for a minimum 3 mile walk four times a week, keeping myself locked in a zone 2 heart rate throughout.

Tip #4. Make an effort to connect with others.

I’m fortunate to have my parents nearby so I love going over and seeing what they have been up to. It makes me feel fulfilled knowing that they know I’m not too busy to make time for them.

Tip #3. Engage in my hobbies

I love cornhole so I will often attend a local league night or practice in my living room.

Bonus points is when my kids participate. They are supposed competitive 😂

Tip #2. Practice Mindfulness

I found driving in silence encourages me to observe my thoughts and feelings. Sometimes the conversations with myself are a little too honest 😃

Cardio an hour before bedtime relaxes me for bed. I know there are others saying the opposite but this works for me 😁
