I think he is unbeatable in some races, but also beatable in a lot. The problem is, it requires a lot of risks, e.g. attacking from the beginning with good riders. Even if Pog is beaten this way, your team can still lose to another team. And if Pog has an unbeatable day you're cooked anyway.

For me aliens are riders, that win their type of races regardless of who is on the startline and (mostly) what happens during the race. Basically those who make you think in every suitable race they start: I don't see how they can be beaten.
So yeah, imo Wiebes is an alien.

He can't win directly against Pog or Remco. But after the last few days, I do think the race could get chaotic and a group of strong 2nd tier favourites find themselves fighting for the win. There he has a good chance, for the reasons you mentioned!
