Enjoy being surrounded by nature, Garry Oaks, Douglas firs, Bald eagles, Anna Hummingbirds, Chickadees, Towhees, Nuthatches, Bewick Wrens, migratory birds including Trumpeter Swans, Brandts plus shore birds. I live on the shores of the Salish Sea.
This was a rescue , release we did a couple of weeks ago. A Goshawk swooping in on a rat . The claw was caught at the base of a deer fence around our yard.

Pileated female at the suet feeder this morning. Notice the red head starts above the beak and there are no red slash aka mustache on the cheeks.
