Getting stuff to link and compile is not to be taken for granted

(Okay, in fullness, there's also the issue of AI-generated code, which is troubling but hard to define and hard to handle appropriately. If I had to give up all software that contains even a tiny amount AI-generated code then I'd have to give up the LLVM compilers. But then how much is OK?)

This is about a policy permitting AI-generated images as thumbnails for extensions. It seems weird to me that the straw breaking the camel's back is *this* and not, like, the semi-official DALL-E extension

It's incredible that it didn't even get the flag right
