I might be late to the party on this one, but please for the love of god, see this The Day The Earth Blew Up! It is worth seeing in theaters not just for the novelty of seeing 2D animation in the theater, but seeing highly exaggerated cartoony animation that we rarely see anymore!

A process I implement when coming up with character designs is to figure out the basic silhouette and negative space of the character first, then overlay the details on top of that. Even on a complicated character the foundation needs to be build of basic shapes! (Original Upload: 10/16/2020)

Fun Fact: My introduction to Beetlejuice was NOT the movie, but the cartoon series. When I was a really little kid, I saw the cartoon first, and used to think the movie was adapted from the cartoon rather than the other way around. (Original Upload: 10/07/2020)
