California has 4 billion per year fire budget. This fire alone is estimated to have created 57 billion in damages already. You're right that the fire plus winds was unstoppable, but this problem is more than just this week. There are fires burning so often it's considered normal.

I have no criticism of firefighters. But the state of California has failed it's duty. According to Reuters, California has a fleet of 60 helicopters and planes. They should have 1000. Just because things are this way, it doesn't mean that they have to be.

Winds right now are 3mph, fires are still burning. There should be an army of firefighters in So Cal. If you don't see the failure in leadership, I don't know what to say. This is not the first or last giant fire in California. 4th largest economy in the world and it's run by a babling idiot.
