Happy #Juneteenth2025, marking the end of slavery in the former Confederacy as the last people still living as slaves learned of the Emancipation Proclamation on this date in 1865.
After all these Assaults on DEI initiatives, I feel lucky that #Juneteenth is still a federal holiday.
