The phrase "everything is stardust" is very common, but since we've been taught the spherical visualization of atoms AND I'm a Mel Brooks fan, I prefer the term "spaceballs". Everything is spaceballs.

Some people don't mind but Hollow Knight had awful input lag on the Switch compared to the PC. Bought the game twice because of this. Maybe Silksong on S2 improves on that, I'd love to grab it there. Is there any guarantee though? #hollowknight #nintendoswitch #silksong

Most modern Unreal Engine games are unnecessarily resource hungry and look ugly with all this dithered reflections, dlss and "realistic" lighting, I don't know why this is considered "state of the art". Occasionally someone does it right, I'll admit.

Finally got to play Oracle of Seasons & Ages. Nice mechanics, a lot of fun ideas in both but I think Ages was the better game, enjoyed its focus on puzzles. Password system was groundbreaking. The music was disappointing in both though.

Transparent textures usually have bad values in the RGB of the transparent pixels, causing visual artifacts on lower mips. Wrote a little tool to pad PNGs with transparency to TGA with alpha. Code, .exe and explaination here:
