I am Alice and I draw badass women in a black and white style with a touch of color ! 💫
An original illustration made for Pascale Picard’s Le Magicien book cover. It features the side face of a young girl, eyes closed and her hair flowing in the wind. It merges with a flock of birds, from which stands out a colibri and an owl, both in gold and blue. In the bust there’s the silhouette of a Britanny’s village, with smoke coming from the chimneys and disappearing in the flock. Portrait inspired by Marlene Dietrich in Dishonored (1931). She lays down towards a candle to lighten her cigarette. The piece is in black and white. The background is pitch black, with a yellow circle behind the candle. Black and white portrait of actress Lily Brayton as Katharina in Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew (1905). The drawing depicts a woman sitting down in a chair, visibly frowning, hunched over, with her arms slightly folded in her lap. She is wearing what seems to be wedding attire, with a long transparent veil, many necklaces and a long dark colored dress. Her hair is tied back under the veil and has many jewels in it.
