(3) we were kinda of mortified. After that I noticed the sentiment everywhere towards C/K especially. Saw a Donki worker scream at a woman trying to take a trolly up an escalator. I’ve never seen a Japanese worker openly angry at a patron. It’s sad that bad behavior has made locals this way.

(2) every review was from a foreigner talking about how racist that place was. They were kicked out once they started speaking Chinese/korean, that they were denied at the door claiming it was reserved, when asked when to come back (tomorrow, the next day, week, etc) they said every day was booked

Was just in Sapporo & went to an almost empty izakaya, the manager stopped as at the door, asked us if we read Japanese, said yes and she begrudgingly let us in. After that they were super pleasant and the food was SO good. Went to save the spot in my google maps and read the reviews though… (1)

If she showed him example pics of her desired ring, then he’s a dipshit and ignored her. If she didn’t show any inspo, then he just has bad taste. It’s unfortunate all around. But she definitely shouldn’t suffer with that god awful ring.
