Aside from my fluffy children, my coping skill...pickles make things better.

There's no such thing as being "politically neutral," especially now when the most vulnerable have been politicized by those in power. Therapists...be brave. Practice to live up to those professional ethics of justice, nonmaleficence, & beneficence. If you don't, then you're in the wrong profession.

Here are some alternatives if you can't engage in the economic blackout tomorrow:

-buy local
-buy from BIPOC/LGTBQIA+ businesses
-buy from businesses who support DEI initiatives
-donate to your local library, food pantries, or other grassroots initiatives in your local community

Monitoring my D&D note taking skills. Unimpressed.

I love reading all the things 🤓 gotta have 2 books going at the same time, nonfiction and fiction... sometimes both contain hard truths we must face in our world. And sometimes they offer hope or escapism. Reading can be an act of protest! What are you reading?

You have to be the one that brings joy and laughter to your life. Here are some ways I've done this:

-change your notification noise to fart noises. Who doesn't laugh at farts?
-wear silly slippers (as pictured)
-sing song lyrics in an unhinged manner
