No matter how many times Putin and his allies restate their maximalist goals, Scholz and the Scholz-a-likes will keep addressing their demands to an imaginary Russia that does not have maximalist goals. It's exasperating.

This night was another clear evidence that Russian intentions haven‘t changed a bit since the start of the war 1000 days ago. Russia is still pursuing maximum goals in this war of aggression. Not to leave any meaningful space for negotiations which could potentially lead to just and lasting peace.

Preaching to the converted here, but EU leaders should get off X.
