So during Gateway FATE, I remember talking to @fisherfruity.bsky.social and issuing a challenge of making a Magic the Gathering deck based off of the card he passed around. Well…after some tough decisions, here is the result. Had to make it digitally, but I feel proud of this. Merfolk tribal! XD

This was how my day started today. Orange sky, trees starting to turn orange…making me so damn excited for fall. On the road the rest of the day to get home late!!

I wake up today a little sad that Gateway is over, but more importantly reinvigorated with FF14. This con deserves everything good coming its way. I believe there are things that can continue improving it even further, but for its second year this was such a good experience. 10/10, y’all. No notes.

The food here was pretty decent! Got a seafood platter with veggies plus a bowl of peel & eat shrimp. Was a good quality bar to set for the first night! I could tell there was a bit of artificial flavor to the drinks, but they weren’t the worst either. I’m a sucker for sweet, what can I say? XD

After getting situated at the Galvez, our next food stop took us to Fish Tales! Lots of restaurants on the list to visit during this trip, but figured I’d start with this one since it was closest. Lots of mounted fish to look at here!
