He inherited his father’s caring nature and is often found mothering and helping small children or young animals in distress or trouble. He treats Alphinaud and Alisaie very well and spoils them with snacks and home baked pastries. After meeting Ameliance, they instantly became good friends.

His job is a dragoon but he is not trying to be good at it, his motto is “just enough to survive” 🤣 he has great respect for Estinien and is very happy to work with him more closely now as colleagues (?)

At the point of end of 5.0 he is 27??? I think by the end of 7.0 he is nearly 30.

He was this 👌 close to becoming a thing with Haurchefant but before he could accept his love or repay his kindness Haurchefant has died before his eyes. He still dreams of that fateful fiery sunset until now.

Koire had a lover in his youth when he was around Gridania - an older elezen man who’s a carpenter. However their relationship came to a painful end when the great calamity struck, and all he could find was his lover’s one shoe amongst the burnt down rubble.

Koire’s parents were of a small aristocratic family, but they both were quite free-spirited and fled the dragon war to move south into North Shroud. That’s where they had Koire and led a quiet life of botany and mining. His mother was a strong-willed woman and his father was gentle and caring.
