I think fudging a roll here and there is kind of fine for a DM if they're doing it in the service of good storytelling and throwing their players a bone here and there so they get cool character moments. Sometimes your dice just want to fuck everything up in very not fun ways

The dearth of physical media in general is a crying shame tbh. Can't tell you how much I despise the drive to cut people off from actually owning their games and music with digital only things

Imma be real at this point that trust is likely never coming back. Years after the shitshows that were CoO and the content vaulting fiasco those were still cited as reasons people don't come back in WQ and at TFS launch when positivity about D2 was at its peak. What do you think (cont.)

For me the real deal breaker was the fact that it takes so long to actually proc, 7s of beam time on a trace for example is far too much of an investment for one paltry orb especially when you can just throw on a siphon, blitz two red bars and enjoy the same result for vastly less ammo expenditure
