Three Body Problem is inferior to DanDaDan
The former has a scene where a string is used to cut a ship in half.
The latter has a scene where a giant worm is used as a fire hose attached to a geyser to extinguish a volcano.
Both are equally ridiculous. But the last one is at least fun.

After listening to the entirety of The Darken Threshold podcast, this is definitely one of the games that intrigues me the most. Easily near the top of 'to try' list.
