Because central Europe is flooding, travelling home from Clash of Kings UK is a pain (and still ongoing)

I placed 129 out of 190 (with Elves) and my son 169 (with Ratkin)
I also got an "outstanding hobby" award for my army

The only downside to painting models past midnight is that you need to go back the next day correcting mistakes in places you cannot reach any more (glue first, think later)

As my elves are part of the Southern Kin deep down in the desert I thought it might be a good idea to use lizards/dragons as chariots, and if there are no models that fit, one need to kitbash their own

Also took way too long to position the heavy cavalry

Not much hobby content as weekend was the local Anime Con (basically dressing the kids up and a little shopping)

Not liking the original look if the mantic elven warmachine kits and not a friend of metal/plastic hybrids so I got the bits-box out to make full plastic Dragon-Breath and re-arranged the bow for the Bolt Thrower
