Found my way back to art after a few weeks on the job. I got pretty emotional about it — felt like a little homecoming.💕 The daily commute is tiring but it trains my ability to prioritize & focus on my needs. Also been reading The Artist's Way as I continue to reorient my creative approach.

Been playing w resins on/off for a while now, but I recently joined a workshop to get a real foundation in it. Made my first mini river table and learned all about prep & post work. The possibilities are so exciting!

Recently watched my nephew compete and it made me miss sparring. Being real tho, I don't maintain that raging fire necessary for fight-sports. Sticking to climbing walls for now.

Abstract work has been a consistent balm during this time. I've not painted this much in and drawn so little. It's quite soothing.🌱
