Add'l, I think there's a dissociation in "retro": For Boomers/GenX that's 8 track/cassette vs CD, Atari vs N64; for Gen Z "retro" is low-BR MP3 vs streaming, PS2 vs PS5.

The tech gap in "modern" vs. gen-relative-"retro" is more like a format shift for GenZ than the room-rearranging it is for GenX
