Saw a steady green glow over Baltimore years ago that a friend said was the northern lights, will never know for sure, was probably something else, due to the city lights I haven’t seen it when forecasted here.
I often wonder if all the footage we see is time lapse or if they really dance that fast.

We had a fairly wet year and my trees are still pretty much green to bare, even the maple that came from NJ in the 1990’s.

I miss fall there. Everything seemed so much brighter and colourful there, here things seem duller, dull red, dull orange, brown, even the yellows here seem dull. Trees near me seem to go straight from green to brown or bare. Not sure if it’s the temperature or soil.

Know the feeling, coworker and I are both salary, his boss isn’t bringing in enough work for him, but he still gets paid staying home, my boss usually doesn’t have him working with me because he can’t bill for 2 on most jobs I do. But coworker is still getting paid regardless.

Hate the cold too but it seems to be the least painful season.
Also gives more reason to fursuit, and is most comfortable for fursuiting.

Saw ET so many times, I think the last time was with a friend, afterwards I went to call my mother to pick me up, I still remember how odd their phone was, it had numbered buttons instead of a dial. Was my first time seeing and using a touchtone phone.1982

There are quite a few furs that ride here but we’ve not been able to organise them into a group.
I can’t ride long so I haven’t any motivation to create a riding meet now. I think the distances make it more challenging, I’m fairly central in the state, closest riders I know are over 45 minutes away.
