I love reading, crafts, my family, and home.
First time seeing the Aurora Borealis. It's absolutely beautiful. Now I'd like to go north and see it even more clearly.

So many live events I'd love to go to, only so much time & money I can spend.

June was a busy reading month. I don't usually read more in the summer - but library books keep popping up so I gotta get through them. 😁

Trying a new hot cocoa mix. Also, our Mimosa tree is in bloom!

9 bird feeders filled tonight. I give them a week until the birds eat them all.

Mostly finches, blackbirds, & sparrows.

Watching "Nature Cat" with my kids seems a bit more important right now.

I finally chose my favorite book from April. It took me awhile, though. Anyone else doing a book bracket?

We had a rough night. I took the early morning shift with one of our baby chicks who finally started eating around 3:30 am. My husband is now on shift (he went to bed at 2 am) and the little is now drinking & eating on her own! She's got energy and looks so much better.

Another 5 star read. This was fantastical and witty. My first Sanderson book. Such a quick & fun read. I highly recommend.

Friends, many of us are finding it hard to feel hopeful. And that’s ok. When you can’t feel hope, do hope. Hope is getting out of bed. Hope is telling jokes, writing that paper, smiling at a stranger, permission to rest. Hope is a practice. What does hope in action look like for you?

Goodnight 💚

I started a couple books that I own because I only had one audiobook from the library. Books that showed several months just popped up for me. Library books become the priority.

First bookmark is done. Now I need to figure out how to cover the back. Maybe just some cotton glued on? I do love how it turned out. #crossstitch #100daysproject #100daysofcrossstitch

I really love my library!! I have had this book on hold for a few months and the wait is still"several months" long. I'd never heard of a skip the line loan. I'm super happy and probably won't need a week for this one. 😁
