on that note Bobby being a pseudo straight man for Joseph in the og series is also done in a way where Bobby is typically more socially aware than Joseph, Bobby uses his humor to work his charm. it’s so weird to see Bobby like stress about the wording of a text? that seems like a Joseph thing?

even then Ted being at the top of the food chain, Bobby is still straight manning him because he is like ridiculously silly in how selfish/rude he comes across, its WEIRD, but also i am deeply attached to these characters so i know i can never be completely satisfied lol. i’ll make my own koth au

yes!! i do feel like it’s a little more realistic to imagine Bobby as more carefree? he has that charisma you know, it’s more effortless for him. i can see it working where he sort of stumbles into the position, his silly food gets noticed by a food critic or something and he gains success that way?

and YES the best humor just comes from Hank reacting to shit. guys i promise its not homophobic when you do that the humor is coming from Hank's naivete and/or reservation to things that are no big deal and/or inability to understand... we all see his heart of gold okay. we know Hank is bisexual

i feel like we missed huge gaps in terms of Seeing Bobby Get Here i know thats the whole point of a reboot and things are different but geez. i think Bobby is a little too serious! i dont know if i believe he would be motivated enough in his early 20s to be doing all this! he's smoking weed to me
