Exactly. I think he could actually be Junior, and that these shenanigans earned him that visit to Aunt Kathy.

Did you notice who the voice of that non-corporeal green energy being belonged to? The one that wedding planner called "dad".

Have you tried Star Trek: Discovery? There's at least a gay couple, a widowed lesbian, a trans character and a non-binary character.

Trill usually volunteer to get joined with a symbiont, and undergo extensive preparation for it.

Yes, it's a great episode.
Btw, have you seen Strangs New Worlds season 3 episode 2 "Wedding Bell Blues"?

Oh, she can be warm, caring and compassionate. In fact, she cares a great deal about her crew. And no, you shouldn't mess with her. Or her crew.

Have you seen Star Trek: Prodigy? If not: Watch it! It's wonderful, and I'm sure you'll love it.

Yes, that's just one of the many beautiful things about Voyager. You have a bunch of people who didn't have much luck in their lives, went through severe trauma and where forced to make some not so good decisions in their life. But getting a second chance, and the right guidance, they thrive.

I mean, when you have a cat you don't wait for her to be 18 until you let her have kittens, do you?

You seem to forget (or willfully ignore) that Kes was an Ocampa, a species that lived only for 9 years and who were maturing at a completely different rate than humans, and that Ocampa are considered adults at 1 year old. Kes was young, but she was an adult.

Just my two cents ... ehm ... replicator rations.

He's a pain in the a**, but not a Badmiral.
November 16, 2025 at 2:49 AM
Seriously, Voyager is one of the BEST Star Trek series.

You mean ADMIRAL Janeway, do you? 😉
November 15, 2025 at 2:12 AM
I don't know how far you've watched yet, but there's a time when Seven has the choice to rejoin the Borg, and she decides against it.
November 14, 2025 at 9:50 AM
Simple reasons:
1. Kes was an adult.
2. While Neelix was overly jealous and protective, he never would have hurt Kes, or done anything against her will.
3. IF he had ever done anything to her it would have ended badly for him.

Not really. She was basically brain-washed by the Borg. Try seeing her as extremely brain-washed by TERF-ideology and now slowly adapting to freedom and individuality.

Just in case you want to read it: archiveofourown.org/works/560284... It's far from finished, and I'm very slow with writing, but I'll update it eventually.

Exactly my thought, too. And that's why in my fanfiction, with proper ingredients and the favourite recipes from all the crew, he's a good cook and they really appreciate his cooking.
November 14, 2025 at 5:36 AM
Yes, that's exactly them.

Gute Besserung.

No, the one that won an Emmy was "Threshold". (The one with the salamanders. Yes, seriously.)
