The main sacrificer bird getting the power of the god is a cool twist but made it feel like a more conventional comic than what I thought it was going to be. Still intrigued but going to follow this one in collected editions vs. monthly.

I haven't read any GI Joe or Transformers ever. The art is hooking me.

I only read the first trade so far. I didn't expect it to end the way it did, but I'm curious to check out the next book.

I think that would totally work. Each issue is really heavy. The second issue was really close to the LOST episode "The Constant," and so well done.

Really enjoyed the first two issues of The Twilight Zone. Looking forward to the next one.
