It still kind of shocks me that people are surprised at this revelation, when the Epic Games storefront as a whole has been the basis of multiple crypto and gen-ai scams as a whole. Now with the Disney acquisition (which also includes Disney’s interest in gen-ai animation) they’re allowed to profit.

It still kind of shocks me that people are surprised at this revelation, when the Epic Games storefront as a whole has been the basis of multiple crypto and gen-ai scams as a whole. Now with the Disney acquisition (which also includes Disney’s interest in gen-ai animation) they’re allowed to profit.
They have been using ai for a significant while now, when they don’t do it, they allow the game to serve as a platform for slowly settling in the idea of ai-generated assets.
