Also… it would have been nice to see this kind of outrage when Joy Reid’s show ended for no good reason. She deserved a Netflix deal too, but I know what moves the needle in this white world.

She forgot to delete the people she met when she was black and they let her have it.

I didn’t have to say anything because her black and white friends have been tearing her a new asshole for 3 days now 😂 She was immersed in black culture in college. Now she’s married to a white man and her entire life looks like a Target ad.

Between running for office and filming Married to Medicine she is about to get lit up one way or another. It’s best to address it now.

Also, growing up inner city where my teachers were former black panthers was a privilege as well. We were not coming out of school without knowing our true history. I watched When the Levees Broke and Ethnic Notions more times than I can count.

I’m also in denial about how old I am and how many historical changes we have lived through. It’s not a given the younger people will know what we know. We have to take the time to stop and educate.
