This is where optics are everything I think. The article is a little..deluded as with any AI thing. But I think it emphasizes that this kind of endeavor is hollow and a kind of coping mechanism for grief and for need for human connection.

But a title like this one does not do the author any favors

It’s not what they consider, it is what scientific evidence shows. Journalism does not to be even-handed when it is fact vs. fiction. Please do better @npr.org
