How do measures help? Modelling for Naples show: already targeted measures reduces flood extent ≈ 1.4%; city-wide green-infra expansion ≈ 15.8%. That difference translates into millions saved. How much can one extreme flood cost? In Naples modelling shows up to €463M per event, depending on the climate scenario (SSP) and which measures the city implements. Ambitious adaptation and climate awareness can cut costs by up to €270M per event vs inaction. #ClimateAdaptation #Naples
