Just give the deadlocked wolves access to a table occupied by a group of dining philosophers. This may not solve to contention over locks A vs. B, but I am sure that there will be some activity - at least until there are no more philosophers, who may or may not hold alternative keys, temporarily.

How do you feel about icosahedrons? Where you calculate all of the vertexes from scratch, and only then solve for the edges, just so you can go yet one more step further and identify every pair of edges that not only shares a common vertex, but which so also can complete a face! Get busy!

First there needs to an evaluation to see if the issue is public facing, and how that might affect disclosure requirements. Then a determination should be made as to whether continuation of service is warranted. Some purely internal issues, or other zero day faults might of course require an NDA.
