The amendment would under the guise of Data Protection, force all records including driving licence and passport to out trans people. It is urgent that you contact your MP and use all channels to prevent this. I have drafted a letter to my MP which people can use as a template.

To actively vote for this is madness or stupidity; to abstain from voting is an abdication of one’s responsibilities as a human being and citizen of this planet.

I can only hope that, one day, revolution will remove this sickness that has infected at least half of American voters in recent elections.

I encourage everyone to do the same. My money and resources will no longer contribute to, or implicitly support, fascism and colonialism. My many friends in the States remain in my thoughts, and I understand that some may disagree.

Where practical, I will also withdraw from as many American products and services as possible, instead supporting companies that actively oppose the disgusting right-wing fascism currently gripping the US government and other parts of the world.
