Update! I decided to frog it all and start over. This second time around I’m much happier with the way it’s working up and how the colorwork is fitting! I was feeling like the first attempt was too busy, so this simple #velaris night sky version is much better❤️🧶 #batboys #knitsocks #knitsky

I think I get why certain knitters are obsessed with socks. Is it because your project bag is small and socks work up super quick? Because I really like the tiny project bag and the 3 days it took me to make these! #knit #knitter #sockknitting 🧶

Oh, sleeve island 🏝️ I love the colors of this sweater but the endless stockinette, the yarn ball wrestling, and more are endless stockinette are really not doing it for me on this project. Naturally, my next project will be colorwork to compensate. #knitter #knitsky #showmeyourknits 🧶

I’ve had my wheel for some time now, but this is the first spin where I’ve felt like the wheel and I were synced. Don’t skip learning the basics on a spindle, that’s what changed everything for me. My wheel and I are friends now ❤️ 🧶 #knitter #knitsky #handspinner #craftsky

I’m having a lot of fun creating headband designs on my knitting machine. This is the latest one, modeled on my son! I believe a chart for this one might work for both machine and hand knitters but I’ll have to test it out. 🧶 #knitsky #knitting #showmeyourknits

🧶 My only crochet WIP, a little elven cape for my son 🧝♂️ it already has so many ends to weave 🙃 but it’s looking so good! I’ll get back to knitting when my halfpipe is fully dismantled and turned into new garden beds, but for now whimsical is in #crochet #chrochetsky #fiberartist

My husband wears a size L glove and these are a bit roomy for him. I sized up to 2.75mm needles specifically to fit him though. My gauge is about 8sts and 8 rows per inch, the pattern doesn’t provide a gauge I believe, so mucking is in the cards 🥺 Definitely will need to size down for a lady’s hand!

Decided to block it after the first sleeve because it was fitting hubs funny, turns out you can fit two full grown adults in this sweater! 4th time’s the charm 😭 🧶 (I did swatch, but it looks like my gauge and tension loosened after I got comfy 🥲) sloppy block because sad. #knitting #knitsky #pain
