I was today years old when I saw Cynthia Erivo at the PA Conference for Women.

I cleaned house tonight, and there is something about clean floors that feels like a resurrection, second only to clean laundry.

I didn’t get raptured and neither did my cat, so we’re enjoying a quietly heathen life together this evening.

The world is too often unbearably heartbreaking. In lieu of all that, here is my cat, Maeby. I love her.

I heard @emmaceisenberg.bsky.social speak today and loved the part where she mentioned her fiction generating from questions. That’s how I want to write, always. And some may be questions that are deepened rather than answered.
