Yes is commercial yarn, I contacted the yarn company but given so long since it left their warehouse they can't take responsibility. Interestingly another very motivating factor to knit yarn close to when you buy it. Makes my stashdown coldsheeping even more motivating.

Likely given it is 100% wool the temperature to set a dye would cause it to felt. Also the gradation would be seen in any additional dye. Never been so happy to be predominantly a process knitter 🤦‍♀️🤣
