Kentucky is considered a red state, though our major cities are mostly blue. We're green in this situation, probably because we have a wise and Democratic governor. A previous one got Toyota into KY, but we have other economic growth. So not all red states get hit first.

Correct. I think we should all realize that this is September data.

Map shows which states face recession, and which are growing
According to economist Mark Zandi, states representing nearly a third of U.S. GDP now find themselves on the brink of a downturn.

Excellent point. Thanks for expanding my thinking.

Interesting. Mine opens to Roku Home screen, & I see my added apps, right of Home, etc., list on the left. So YouTube TV, ESPN, Prime and other apps are mostly what I see, as I arranged them. I never look at Roku channels, and I ignore the Roku offerings on the Home screen. Nothing religious there.

Maybe I have a different perspective than you do, but I believe that "White men suck" is too general a statement, because I know many who don't.
November 16, 2025 at 6:42 AM
I shouldn't have generalized about men. Lots of men, including my brother and three nephews, truly like women and are very respectful and protective of them. I've also been treated well by many men whom I've encountered in an extensive medical setting. Maybe I just stay away from the right people...

I wish people wouldn't say, "America hates women" & such. Not America but a loud piece of it, probably a minority (men). Hatred? Have never felt it. In the Navy (1981), disliked by my base Capt, who didn't like women being there, + an older Warrant Officer. My CMDR was kind, respectful, & taught us.

Are you sure that's not George Santos?

Gosh, I was so slow! I think I read it three times before it clicked. 😂

It's not at all surprising that he seems to have forgotten that a man helped her become a single mother. Bet he didn't call him a whore.

This coming from a man who was sexually assaulting both his wife and other women, and who was sleeping with Marla Maples while still married to Ivana, even had her show up in Aspen while his family was there. Massie's marriage happened 16+ months after his first wife's death.

Bill Clinton isn't our current president (too bad), so why should we be investigating him re his relationship with Epstein? Further, he was a known, likely frequent philanderer, but I don't recall a single story about him being a pedophile like DJT.

I understood what you meant (and donnasamoyloff probably did also), but a re-read made me think a "do" at the end of the sentence might have clarified it for donnasamoyloff and others. But you got your accurate message across to me. 👏👏👏

It's half as many items as last year, and it's Walmart brands instead of well-known name brands.

Kentucky Democrat here. Andy Beshear is a jewel for us.

I've always thought he was brilliant, but read about him. He has often represented corporations, and he supported the nominations of both Kavanaugh and Gorsuch for the Supreme Court.
