Congratulations to your wife and everyone involved! I'm sorry you couldn't be there, but I'm sure you were there for many of the steps before - and yes to marzipan cake and taking care of yourself. Beautiful scarf and wonderful reminder ❤️

The accident was worth it 😄 Well, I have the yarn (cheerful stone gray), the instructions and will probably swatch soon. Maybe the sweater will be next when I've finished the cardigan. But the green Gilliatt is so appealing to me, it will probably be on my needles first ...

17 – your dedication to swatching is amazing 😯 Looking forward to your forest vibes sweater!

So, a little wistfully, I frogged out the damaged areas. It will probably have one less stripe - but it will be beautiful again ❤️

This blanket kept my babies warm and on many days when I was sitting next to a sleeping or sick child, it kept me warm too. We played and told stories under this blanket. I had to mend it here and there several times. After almost 8 years of heavy use, some of the holes really couldn't be mended.
