Thinking that I'm proud of this hat I knitted for myself. Minnesota temp has chilled to 16°F and it's keeping me pretty warm.

I started knitting this dishcloth a while back. I haven't touched it in months. Today I searched in all my saved files for the pattern, nothing. Last ditch effort, I took a Google Pic and let it search. Google found the pattern. I'm shocked and thrilled. And now it's finished. YAY Google. #knitting

I started knitting this dishcloth a while back. I haven't touched it in months. Today I searched in all my saved files for the pattern, nothing. Last ditch effort, I took a Google Pic and let it search. Google found the pattern. I'm shocked and thrilled. And now it's finished. YAY Google. #knitting
I enjoy two snowfalls each winter, the first and the last. But the view from the deck is kinda pretty.

I enjoy two snowfalls each winter, the first and the last. But the view from the deck is kinda pretty.
I knit while watching TV. Tomorrow I'm donating 30 pair of mittens, 7 hat and mitten sets, a couple of hats, and an ear warmer along with a stack of hats from my wonderful granddaughter to Project Reach in St Paul, MN. It makes me happy to know that someone will have some extra warmth this winter.
