Another day of naps and Lego. Gotta say the app is a big help with some of these weird specialty pieces. It explained the # that’s with some of the little rods (it’s the number of studs long the piece is).

18 wheels for this thing so far. (Plus six on the shuttle)

Scratch that. I went to look at what bag I’m on and I found it stuck in the bag. Phew!

I think this might be my cue to head to bed. Still, made great progress!

Well, I got thru quite a bit of the airplane, I have functional landing gear! But I’m short a piece. And I was trying to look it up on Lego’s website to order one and the part number is not coming up.

6562185 - white curved piece. Gonna have to email Lego. I stole one from a later bag for now.

Taking a dinner break! I’m done with three bags and partway thru a fourth. Paused before the step that has me taking the wheels off to get a couple pics and show my parents 😂

I tested the lights too, but those get installed at the end I guess. They look pretty!

Been feeling ugh so I decided to not go out today and after a couple naps (cuz I cannot get comfortable for long - that’s a story for another post) I’m starting a new Lego set.

Treated myself to the shuttle with airplane cuz it’s Enterprise. Bought a light kit too! Bag 1 done. 1/2

Medical saga continues.

You know the medicine you’ve just been given is Serious Business when it comes with a literal BINDER of information.

There’s four copies of the usual drug information sheet in folders within that binder btw. And a wallet card to alert paramedics.

Can I brag about a non scale victory? I mean, the scale has been holding steady at a number I haven’t seen in years.

But I am wearing an XL jersey that was the giveaway at the Stars-Fire doubleheader. I can’t remember the last time I was able to fit into a giveaway shirt.

Whirlwind weekend ended on a sleepy note.

Spent Friday evening in Wicker Park seeing @maryrobinettekowal.com at Volumes Bookcafe for the release of her newest book. Need to reread the previous books to refresh my memory, but I am super looking forward to the new one. Plus I got patches! 1/3

I should really do more of that, though maybe not in a super warm hoodie dress 🤣 Good workout tho!

When I got home I broke out my taiko drumming game on the switch. I really need to utilize my active games more.

The “dipshit from Chicago” has arrived! I wasn’t going to get another figure from this line (they’re expensive!) but when @realtoddstashwick.bsky.social shared the first images I couldn’t resist. Especially since he has his wine 😂

My Mariner came today, I didn’t think she’d arrive that quickly as she just left China on Sat. 😊 (she’s just hanging with Stitch and Scrooge for now, I need to arrange my Star Trek shelf)
