Same story here. I'm 41, been following Israeli developments since the early 90s. It was always a central discussion in our household.

Do I think there are political motivations behind who gets put under a microscope and charged? Sure. But most of this could have been avoided by being transparent about targeting decisions and taking responsibility for humanitarian aid distribution.

Also, charging radicals with incitement.

In the 90s there was a massive peace movement in Israel. It was a large majority. What happened?

1. The far right killed Rabin
2. Hamas et al, started blowing up buses and cafes every week.
