I've come to the realization that I can watch Seasons 4 and 5 of Strange New Worlds some other way later and I need to join others dropping Paramount+ now.

Wow. This explains so much I have observed in my life, like Mormon family accepting MAGA bad behavior to leaders prioritizing "the good name of the church" over victims of child abuse.

My kids informed me after that they hear the "f-word" 100x between classes.

Also the taxi scene with the pin up girls and scene where they accuse each other of fondling themselves was not censored.

I thought about this poster recently.

I watched someone insist that the TV be muted for their young teenager during the part of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles when Steve Martin gets angry at the airport.

Yet this teen loves to watch Friends with all the sex and innuendo.

Was this before or after the rise and fall of CleanFlicks (I think that was the name)?

I have friends who were victims of child abuse.

After deconstructing religion, I am bothered that parents (and relatives who knew) can be so church (cult) broke that they don't report the abuse either.

I now generally consider them just as guilty as church leaders.

When I put together the pieces of his influence combined with others of his time like Petersen and McConkie, the ideas I heard, behavior I observed, and experiences I had growing up in 1980's within the LDS Church made so much more sense.

The article says he was charged after he declared his candidacy.

Not that I wanted him elected, but that is the timeline.

Absolutely it's a big no no, another concept that was pounded into my head at BYU in my science classes.

Confounding factors (a concept I learned in a BYU stats class) also come to mind

Are they LGBTQ?

Education level and in what area?

Were those closest to the subjects generally accepting of their choice or were they rejected and treated differently?

Having science training (in part from BYU), I won't immediately dismiss their findings because I might not agree or like them.

The actual publication would be helpful for clarity.

I want to know what the survey questions are. Were they in any way leading (begging the question)?
